J.C. Carter is a Fort Lauderdale native and a multidisciplinary professional whose work spans education, leadership, athletics, public service, fitness, and creative media. With a diverse background built across multiple industries, he brings together academic achievement, real-world leadership experience, and creative excellence in a way that is both distinctive and impactful. He holds a Master’s degree in Political Communication from the University of Florida and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida. In addition, he earned an Associate of Science degree in Music Business from Miami Dade College and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts from Florida International University.

Carter has spent more than a decade working in education and athletics, serving students and communities through teaching, coaching, and leadership. His experience includes work in the classroom as well as key athletic leadership roles, including high school football coach, middle school track coach, and athletic director. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to helping young people develop not only their skills and performance, but also the discipline, confidence, resilience, and character needed to succeed in school, sports, and life.

In the fitness and performance space, Carter is a certified personal trainer through both ISSA and NASM. As a personal trainer, he specializes in speed and agility training and strength development, helping athletes and clients improve performance, build confidence, and reach their physical goals through structured, purposeful training. His background in athletics, coaching, and training allows him to connect performance principles across sports, fitness, and personal development.

Carter is also an experienced public speaker whose areas of focus include K–12 education, higher education, public policy advocacy, political communication, and political strategy. His speaking combines practical experience, thoughtful analysis, and a clear understanding of leadership in both educational and civic spaces. In 2022, he was a candidate for the Florida State Senate in District 33, further demonstrating his commitment to public service, advocacy, and community leadership. He is available to be booked for speaking engagements, panels, workshops, and other events related to education, leadership, public policy, and strategy.

Beyond his work in education, fitness, and public service, Carter is an accomplished musician and creative professional. He works as a producer, audio engineer, multi-instrumentalist, and sound designer, with credits that include placements on VH1, Chevrolet commercials, and Grammy-nominated albums. He offers music services for independent artists and content creators, bringing a high level of creativity, technical skill, and industry knowledge to every project. In addition to working behind the scenes, he also releases his own music as an artist, continuing to build a creative catalog that reflects his range and originality. His upcoming album titled Pancakes for Breakfast is scheduled for a summer 2026 release.
